4.5 FINISHING, PAINTING, FLOOR COVERINGS

When you finish building BETONYP boards, shall be assessed the main characteristics of the table:

  • Thanks to its high content of cement, the table shows reactions of alkalinity (similar to cement)
  • The table surface is smooth and quite absorbent
  • The moisture content of the table must not exceed 14%

Should be used any material resistant alkalinity or alkaline a first layer of stain to finish building the tables BETONYP.

The purpose of applying a primed (primer):

  • Reduce surface alkalinity
  • Make it absorbent and uniform
  • Decrease the absorption of moisture

The so-called "primer in depth" strong alkalinity (which do not show on the surface saponification) is used for that purpose.
Before application of finish materials is highly recommended to seek information directly to suppliers.
Repair of minor damage of the table:
Prepare the damaged part with other parts of the surface, then fill the hole using putty DEKO.
Once dry, remove the portion of the excess glue and align with the other solid parts of the surface by the method of grinding.

To paint the boards BETONYP building is recommended to use advanced coating through the various manufacturing companies as paint and varnishes

4.6 WALLPAPERING

Wallpapering is a general method for finishing the surface of the bedrooms.

Preparation of the surface finish of fittings from cracks or repair of certain defects of the surface by filling with plaster (Breplasta). To compensate for slight movements of the structure, the foam is positioned elastic panel or plaster under the wallpaper.
This layer makes the surface slippery ready to prepare the final surface

  • Location wallpaper with polystyrene substrate: the wallpaper is available in the form of panels and depending on size. Ensure that vertical stripes are well combined. The reconciliation of margin to margin should not match the siding panel and preferably free of cracks
  • Initially, to uniformly apply the adhesive on the wall surface to be positioned (by means of brush and comb distribution) then based on the wallpaper. The walls are ready to dry at least 10 minutes. An area of 3-4 m (q) should be hung simultaneously. The substrate of wallpaper can be placed on the wall by TEDDY rollers so that the air enclosed between the layers squeeze, moving the roller in one direction.
  • Location of the wallpaper with gypsum boards: plasterboard is available in cake form, and should be cut precisely to measure the size to be made. The panel must be fixed with screws. Starting from the center and continuing down. The panel must be fixed in its limits and center line in the same way as the panels of beading, making sure that the junction of the link and the plasterboard are in a balanced position. You must use a thread shavings minimum of 35 mm in length. The distance must be fixed up to 200 mm and a minimum of 15 mm from the edge of the table. The hole formed in the setting of nails should be covered with gypsum. The position of the head of the nails should be masked with the plaster cast. The technology of the position of wallpaper used for areas just mentioned, is similar to that applied in conventional walls. You can apply a light wallpaper with superimposed fitting directly to the table of polystyrene. Special wallpapers and wall coverings can be attached with tape to water leakage. Be careful at the corners of the walls when you move the wallpaper vertically. Do not carry on a continuous wallpaper near the walls. Here the wallpaper must be united, leaving a slight overlap and joining just one layer. It is recommended to complete the wallpaper before placing the tapes covering the tables and marginal, despite facilitating the connection of the horizontal edges of the margins and those of the rooms and windows.

WARNING: The adhesive tape, putty and paint used for PS polystyrene plates may not contain organic solvents.

4.7 COATINGS FOR "ROOMS TO WET"

4.7.1 PVC coating systems

The coating systems are suitable for making connections, resilient quality "rooms to wet" toilets, bathrooms, toilets, gyms, swimming pools, shower rooms, and areas above the kitchen work. Local spa, beauty cabins etc..

·         Surface Preparation:
The variability or misalignment of the base plates in the floor under the floor should be eliminated. The basic materials used for floor finishing are: limes polymer, a set of self-smoothing floor also called "leveling."

·        The defects of the external panels with coating materials can be repaired with mastic DEKO.

·        Initially, you must finish flooring. The material for the flooring free of holes must be welded together fittings. Pay attention to the welding of the corners.

·         Wall cladding-free holes must be united through the cut, so that the coating material 5 cm folded to overlap the edges of the floor covering to form a container. Therefore, make sure that no infiltration of water entering the building structure of the panel. The union of the PVC coating is recommended and should be done by specialists.

4.72 Bonding tiles and wall tiles

The tiles form a hard layer on the surface of the wall (or floor), so, you must observe the following instructions for the position:

  • It is recommended to design the structure so that supports the solid load (structure of solid construction, and fasten the plates). The movement of the structure that supports the load can cause split or broken tiles.
  • Tiles must be applied in a robust, allowing a minimum clearance of 3 mm between the drain and tile. Similarly, we require a minimum clearance of 3 mm between the drain and the corners.
  • In the corner fittings may be used only an elastic material and continuing to fill the holes (Silicone or acrylic). Take into consideration that when you use silicone to fill the holes, then can not be stained or painted. Therefore using the silicone, you must apply a colored silicone. The dough of acrylic can be painted later.
  • Especially for larger walls must be positioned an expansion joint of elastic material between the plates BETONYP construction and tile, to form a layer that slides. This layer can be a table of polystyrene or plaster placed on a finished surface according to the guidelines (union with the PS board and fixing screws to the chalk board).

The position of the tiles can be made on these surfaces. When you combine the tiles, you must follow the instructions of the adhesive suppliers.

If the flooring of the rooms exposed to humid       conditions with the roof built ceramics - especially if the floor BETONYP is positioned between the ground floor and mezzanine, is likely to test leakage of rainwater.

This insulating material can be solidified with the waterproofing (BITUGEL) and combined (tables + bitumen bitumen). The insulating material must be placed by folding the side wall of at least a minimum of 10 cm.

BITUGEL is used to bond the ceramic coating and insulating material.
In the appropriate angles, it is recommended to use the elastic to cover the holes.
